While the M.Sc. programme is primarily aimed at training students with professional goals in industry, business or government, the Ph.D. programme at the ICS promotes the development of new professionals interested in academic or industrial research careers. A successful Ph.D. Student will gain a broad knowledge and understanding including mathematics, informatics and computational science. Most Ph.D. students become either teaching assistants or research assistants on funded projects and are thus supported. We encourage the M.Sc. students enrolled in our AMCS programme to apply for admission in the Ph.D. programme.
